CNA – 2nd Shift (FT or PT)

Facility: Grand Rapids Home for Veterans

Position Overview:

Grand Rapids Home for Veterans is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time or part-time 2nd shift positions. This role involves providing compassionate, hands-on care to our veteran residents in a supportive and respectful environment. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Contract Details:

+ Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm | Flexible FT or PT options

+ Schedule: Every other weekend required

+ Pay: Up to $25/hour

+ Start Date: ASAP

+ Setting: Long-Term Care for Veterans

Minimum Requirements:

+ Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years

+ Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing

+ Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
