    Amentum (Cape Canaveral, FL)


    Amentum is seeking a P.C. Installer/Repairer for the Space Force Range contract.

    Typical Duties

    + Analyze, log, track, and resolve basic software/hardware anomalies pertaining to networked workstations and printers

    + Perform imaging and configuration tasks for .MIL Standard Desktop Configured (SDC) NIPR/SIPR workstations

    + Perform hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure workstation performance

    + Review weekly PC vulnerability lists and apply appropriate resolution

    + Diagnose and resolve common PC issues

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School Diploma; Associate’s degree or two-year technical school or military training in Information Technology preferred

    + 0-2 years of experience working with hardware/software installations, imaging, troubleshooting and vulnerability assessments

    + Basic knowledge of desktop computer systems

    + Ability to analyze, implement, and document PC hardware and software problems

    + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office applications

    + Local travel between Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Kennedy Space Center and the Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex in Jupiter, FL

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship. Current clearance preferred.

    + Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement
