We Are Currently Hiring Paraprofessional for Multiple Openings Across the District

Locations: Coon Rapids, Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Anoka, Andover, Champlin, Dayton

Pay: $20/hour + Benefits

Schedule: 35 hours/week

Start Date: Can start as soon as you complete Amergis' standard onboarding process

Duration: Through the end of the school year with option to return next school year

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to join our team across multiple schools in the district. Positions are available at all grade levels. A paraprofessional works under the supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, or designated supervisor to provide instructional and/or behavioral support to students. This role may also include assisting students with personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic needs as directed by healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

+ Previous experience working with children or in a school setting.

+ Familiarity with supporting students with developmental needs and behavioral challenges.

+ Knowledge of crisis prevention strategies is a plus.

Minimum Requirements

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).

+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required).

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
