    Amergis (Santa Clarita, CA)


    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support K–12 school sites in the Newhall School District and surrounding areas . We partner with multiple districts across the Santa Clarita Valley and Greater LA region, and have several openings based on experience and preference.

     

    This is an excellent opportunity for CNAs who enjoy working with children, supporting daily health needs, and being part of an educational team.

    Position Details

    • Locations: Newhall, Santa Clarita, Valencia, Canyon Country, and nearby areas

    • Setting: Public school (K–12; placement varies by district)

    • Schedule: Monday–Friday, school-day hours (Bell Schedule)

    • Start Date: ASAP

    • Assignments: Full school year with potential for renewal

    Responsibilities

    • Provide direct care to students under the supervision of a school nurse

    • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including feeding, mobility, toileting, and hygiene

    • Monitor and document student health status

    • Support classroom and campus health needs as they arise

    • Maintain a clean, safe environment for students

    • Communicate effectively with school staff and Amergis team members

    Requirements

    • Active California CNA license

    • Current CPR certification

    • Recent TB test and physical (within 1 year)

    • Ability to pass background check & fingerprinting (LiveScan)

    • Experience with pediatrics or special education is a plus (not required)
