    CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Drafting/CAD Technician I.

    **Job Title:** Drafting/CAD Technician I

    **Location:** Harrodsburg, KY

    _Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Harrodsburg, KY_

    **Pay Rate:** Based on experience

    **Work Hours:** M–F, 8:00am–5:00pm

    **Education:** Certified Drafting Technician or equivalent

    Description

    The Drafting/CAD Technician I supports drafting document management for the HaKY manufacturing plant, including creation, modification, storage, and verification of drawings. This role supports field verifications, 3D printing, and collaborates closely with site and division engineering teams.

    Requirements:

    • Maintain drafting policies and procedures

    • Manage drafting room organization

    • Create, store, and modify AutoCAD and SolidWorks files

    • Administer Meridian drawing vault and manage drawing requests

    • Support drafting systems training and user support

    • Verify and update as-built drawings via field inspections

    • Support 3D printing and plotter operations

    • Convert SolidWorks models to 2D drawings

    • Collaborate with plant and division engineering teams

    Education

    • Certified Drafting Technician or equivalent

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years drafting or engineering experience in manufacturing (preferred)

    • Proficient in AutoCAD

    • Ability to field-verify facility drawings

    • Strong organization, communication, and independent work skills

    • Ability to follow procedures and learn new systems quickly

    Desired Skills:

    • Drawing management experience

    • Meridian or similar vault system experience

    • SharePoint experience

    • 3D printing experience

    • SolidWorks proficiency

    • AutoCAD Electrical experience

    Soft Skills:

    • Positive attitude, initiative, and strong work ethic

    • Organized with strong time management skills

    • Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
