ABOUT THE ROLE

+ Operate and maintain packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards.

+ Package products according to specifications, including labeling and sealing.

+ Conduct regular checks on packaging materials and communicate any shortages or issues to management.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace to meet safety and hygiene standards.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow.

+ Assist in training new employees on packaging processes and safety protocols.

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ Must be able to work on feet for 8 hours

+ Required to work in areas where temperatures will be 45°F or below

+ Standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting over head

+ Able to lift up to 80 pounds or more

+ Acquiring and keeping current Forklift Operator’s license

+ Follow all company safety procedures

+ Previous experience in food production or packaging is a plus.

+ Ability to operate packaging machinery and equipment effectively.

+ Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.

+ Good communication and teamwork abilities.

+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Physical ability to lift and move packaging materials as needed.
