    Job Description

    The Development Operations Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring applications move smoothly from development into stable, secure production environments. On a typical day, this role partners closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and operations teams to plan releases, manage priorities, resolve production issues, and continuously improve delivery processes. The manager oversees CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce and enterprise application deployments, system monitoring, and operational metrics while coaching team members and removing delivery roadblocks. This is a Monday–Friday, on-site role, focused on driving execution, maintaining reliability, and ensuring technology solutions consistently meet business needs without sacrificing security or quality

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ Years in a management role specifically overseeing applications development teams

     

    Strong CI/CD & Automation Expertise – Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment automation, environment management, and system observability.

     

    Salesforce Platform Depth – Demonstrated experience with Salesforce (Public Sector Solutions preferred), including OmniStudio, metadata management, integrations, and DevOps rigor across environments.

     

    Integration & Enterprise Systems Experience – Ability to oversee secure, reliable integrations between SaaS, on-prem, and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, HR, custom .NET applications).

     

    Operational Excellence & Incident Management – Strong background in production support, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of application reliability.

     

    Security & Quality Mindset – Experience partnering with Information Security to embed secure development practices, quality assurance, and code review standards into delivery pipelines.
