    Job Description:

    Work Schedule: Monday and Friday, Saturday and Sunday or Tuesday and Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Some call required.

     

    + Receives soiled and contaminated instruments or equipment from surgery, anesthesia, and nursing units.

    + Prepares, cleans, and disinfects instruments and equipment appropriately.

    + Inspects all instruments and equipment for damages, malfunction, or unacceptable condition.

    + Prepares instruments and equipment for sterilization by verifying correct items and quantities.

    + Assures proper sterilization procedures are performed and the effectiveness of the sterilizing process.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational SchoolBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $15.43 - $24.68
