Zantech is looking for a talented Program Manager / Chief Enterprise Architect to contribute to the success of our upcoming Program Management Support project for an Onsite role based out of the Washington DC Metro Area/Pentagon.
The Program Manager / Chief Enterprise Architect will play a crucial role in providing:
+ Enterprise Architecture Framework Development
+ Strategic Planning and Roadmap Development
+ Stakeholder Engagement and Executive Briefings
+ DoDAF/FEAF Architecture Documentation
+ Program Management and Contract Oversight.
The Program Manager/Chief Enterprise Architect serves as the primary technical and strategic leader for the Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Management contract. This individual will lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks, strategic roadmaps, and governance structures that align technical, data, and business architecture with mission goals. The PM/Chief Architect will serve as the principal interface with leadership, coordinate across DoD Components, and ensure delivery of all contract requirements.
This role directly shapes the strategic direction of DoD's premier data and analytics platform, affecting decision-making capabilities across the entire Department.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
+ Serve as primary point of contact and strategic advisor to CDAO leadership on all EA/BPM matters
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise architecture roadmaps and strategic plans for Advana platform evolution
+ Lead development of DoDAF-compliant architecture products (OV, SV, TV, DIV views)
+ Design and implement data governance frameworks and enterprise data management strategies
+ Coordinate architecture decisions across 40+ DoD organizations using Advana
+ Brief senior DoD leadership (flag officers, SES) on architecture strategies and recommendations
+ Manage program execution including budget, schedule, staffing, and quality deliverables
+ Ensure integration of EA/BPM work with broader Open DAGIR and CDAO initiatives
+ Lead technical design reviews and architecture assessment boards
+ Mentor and develop enterprise architecture team members
+ Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across OSD, Services, and COCOMs
Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
+ 15+ years in DoD Enterprise Architecture and program management
+ Deep expertise in DoDAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework)
+ Proven experience with TOGAF and/or FEAF frameworks
+ Prior work with CDAO, Advana platform, or DoD enterprise data architecture
+ Executive communication skills (briefing flag officers, SES leadership)
+ Strategic planning and multi-year roadmap development
+ Enterprise-wide systems integration and data architecture
+ Government stakeholder management across OSD/Services/COCOMs
+ Contract program management and CPAF/CPFF contract execution
+ Data governance and information architecture principles
+ Agile/SAFe program management methodologies
+ Must have demonstrated experience as a technical lead on DoD enterprise data platforms
+ Prior pilot program or first-of-kind implementation experience highly valued
+ Experience with real-time data integration, cloud migration, and multi-domain architectures
+ Published architecture artifacts and framework documentation preferred
Required Education/Certifications:
+ DoDAF or TOGAF certification (required)
+ PMP or equivalent program management certification
+ Certifications Preferred:
+ FEAF certification
+ DAMA CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
+ AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
+ SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field
+ Education Preferred:
+ Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
+ Doctorate in relevant technical or management field
Required Security Clearance:
+ US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
