    Overview

     

    Job Purpose

     

    Director of Product Development is responsible for helping in the launch of new products, and revisions to existing contracts. This involved working with legal for regulatory filings, drafting contract specs, and serving as the primary liaison for the ICE Product Committees.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage the IFUS Agricultural Product Committees, including preparing Agendas and meeting materials, scheduling the meetings, preparing the Minutes and developing the Committee rosters.

    + Prepare Board Memos for all relevant Rule amendments proposals coming from the Product Committees.

    + Assist IFUS Legal in the preparation of CFTC Rule submissions.

    + Work with various Sales colleagues to develop the term and Rules for new futures contracts.

    + Maintain a calendar of IFUS market maker and incentive programs and assist Sales and Legal in ensuring timely extensions of expiring programs.

    + Maintain and update website materials on IFUS products.

    + Develop the trading/holiday calendar for IFUS products.

    + Prepare and publish Exchange Notices on holidays, Rule amendments, changes to contract terms, etc.

    Knowledge and Experience

    + 3-5 Year working in Soft Commodities or Compliance / Regulatory Affairs / Product Development

     

    New York Base Salary Range

     

    The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $185,000 - 275,000 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
