Bloomberg's OMS (AIM) delivers global, multi-asset solutions for portfolio management, trading, compliance and operations for buy-side firms. AIM is used by more than 14,000 professionals at over 900 client firms, including some of the largest asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds and government agencies. What’s the role?
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Buyside OMS (AIM) Product team focusing on our Core Order Management offering. This position will play a critical role in defining our OEMS (Order & Execution Management) experience. As part of the Buyside Product team they will be responsible for setting priorities that contribute to the strategic OEMS product roadmap accountable for progress towards OKRs. In this role you will need to apply working knowledge of order management and trade execution to define product design and detailed specifications.
We'll trust you to:
The Product Manager will be responsible for:
+ Support the leadership of a multi year transformation objective, redefining and aligning the way our OMS solution integrates to both internal and external EMS systems.
+ Refine the OEMS roadmap alongside several cross functional teams
+ Communicate the vision, value proposition, and development progress to business leadership, sales, engineering and our client stakeholders.
+ Set measurable milestones for the global delivery of cross asset order and execution workflows. Documenting clear functional specifications (including OKRs) for each phase of product development
+ Work collaboratively with other Product owners to integrate Order Management services within other AIM and EMS applications
+ Ensure project milestones are delivered on time and to specification with a strong focus on stability and resilience.
You'll need to have/be:
+ Deep experience in multi-asset order management and electronic trading workflows
+ Detailed asset class life-cycle experience in at least one of these asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities, Derivatives
+ Highly motivated, consensus builder, collaborates well in a team and across wider business
+ Experience managing complex projects and teams
+ Detail-oriented with solid analytic and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Excellent presentation skills including written, graphic and verbal
+ Ability to engage senior technology staff both internally & externally
+ A deep understanding of the Buyside trader persona and interactions of a Portfolio Manager and Trader on the Buyside
We’d love to see:
+ Deep financial markets understanding demonstrated through designations and/or licenses (ie CFA, MBA, Series 7, etc)
+ Experience with connectivity, integrations and REST APIs
+ Previous product ownership within the trade lifecycle (Order creation, electronic trading, order management, EMS, TCA)
+ Previous experience with software development processes and technologies (example Agile, Jira)
+ Experiences with portfolio trading technologies and high throughput protocols
+ A technical PM background
Salary Range = 140000 - 295000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
