Position Description
The Yang Lab at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine invites individuals to apply for a postdoctoral fellow position investigating the cross-talk between cell signaling, metabolism, and immune regulation in stem cell biology.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
+ Conduct cutting-edge research to elucidate cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying stem cell regulation in the context of regeneration, aging and metabolism of bone and craniofacial tissues.
+ Strong expertise and research track record of cellular and molecular biology, mechanobiology.
+ Design and implement experiments; analyze and interpret data.
+ Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts as a lead author.
+ Present research findings at national and international conferences.
+ Collaborate with other group members and external research partners.
+ Experience of mouse genetics is preferred.
This is an annual term position reviewed each academic year on or before June 30th, with the possibility of extension, contingent upon work performance, business need, and continued funding to support the position.
Basic Qualifications
+ Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology or a closely related field, obtained within the past two years.
+ Strong publication record as a first author in peer-reviewed journals.
+ Proven expertise in stem cells, metabolism, immune regulation, or cell signaling is highly desirable.
+ Experience with standard molecular and cellular biology techniques.
+ Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary Range
