In this intermediate-level production welding role, you'll play an important part in high-volume manufacturing, helping produce consistent, high-quality products that keep operations running smoothly. With limited supervision and support from experienced team members, you'll set up and weld parts using standard fixtures, positioners, and turntables, relying on strong hand-eye coordination to create dependable welds.

You'll work with materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys, using established welding processes including MIG, TIG, stick, gas, or submerged arc welding. Most of the work follows clearly defined plans and routine welding positions, allowing you to focus on quality, efficiency, and repeatability across longer production runs.

In this role, you'll adjust heat and feed settings, select appropriate electrodes, tips, and filler rods, and read specifications, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure each weld meets requirements. This position is ideal for a welder who enjoys production work, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in delivering consistent results at scale.

Hours: Mon-Fri: 5:00am-1:30pm

What You'll Do

+ Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and established safety protocols.

+ Must be able to read basic drawings and fit product as represented by drawing.

+ Fit up and tack multiple styles of entry-level product, as directed.

+ Weld multiple styles of product on the positioner.

+ TIG weld various types of material, including ductile iron, mild steel, and/or stainless steel, as directed.

+ Check all welds for porosity or defects and weld size.

What You'll Bring

+ 1+ years of welding experience with welding mild steel, ductile iron, and/or stainless steel (print reading and positioner welding)

+ Must pass 1G weld test

+ Possess basic blueprint reading skills

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Have basic math and computer skills

+ Ability to count accurately and read a tape measure

Base Compensation Range: $25.25-$34.09 per hour. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
