Caregivers in our program enjoy **travel assignments across the Western Slope of Colorado, the Denver Metro area, and beautiful regions of Montana** . Every assignment is a **14‑week rotation** , offering variety, growth, and the opportunity to make an impact in multiple communities.
Housing Reimbursement:
If you're working **50 miles or more from home** , you may qualify for housing reimbursement. Reimbursable amounts are based on the assigned site location, and receipts must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction date.

Posting Specifics:
+ Flat Rate: $67.00 hourly
+ Shift Details: Variable
+ Hours: Full-Time (36 Hours-40 hours)

Essential Functions:
+ Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing procedures according to protocol. Obtain arterial gases. Oversee and troubleshoot the operation of equipment for optimal patient care. Initiate Respiratory Protocol according to department criteria. Initiate interventions based on the interpretation of assessments.
+ Administer medications in a timely and safe manner. Evaluate effect and re-evaluate appropriately and according to protocol. Ensure that progress of patient is communicated to staff, physicians and other departments.
+ Maintain awareness of assigned patient’s overall condition. Communicate and share patient information with the physicians and nurses. Make appropriate recommendations for patient care. Recognize the educational needs of patients and families in relation to health promotion and wellness. Teach patients and families self-care techniques and modalities.
+ Complete documentation according to departmental standards. Accurately document productivity information. Monitor supplies and equipment and notify appropriate person when supplies are low, out on loan or broken. Utilize time effectively to achieve productivity standard, including utilizing low census time when patient load does not support full productivity.
+ Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identify potential areas for improvement including processes that could be streamlined or revised to improve patient satisfaction. Identify potential safety hazards that may create problems for patients and/or staff and take appropriate actions. Participate in departmental meetings, contributing ideas or feedback.
Qualifications:
+ Graduate from a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program is required. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
+ Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT), required
+ Current license as Registered Respiratory Therapy in the state of practice is required.
+ Ability to obtain Respiratory Therapist License in Montana.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers is required.
+ Specific certifications as required (i.e. PALS, ACLS, NRP) is required.
+ One (1) years of hospital experience including critical care as Therapist, highly preferred.
+ (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.
