The Pressure Wing Absorber (PSA) Technician I is responsible for assembly and testing of Pressure Swing Absorbers, Wave Guide Dryers, Dehydrators and other complicated assemblies.
This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Air Value Stream and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and overtime is routine.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Perform assembly and testing on PSA assemblies by interpreting blueprints, acceptable test procedures (ATPs), work instructions, and job sheets while ensuring all gages and test equipment are calibrated prior to use. Swage various units using a hydraulic press. Lock wire and or safety cable various assemblies. Learn to build complicated units from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams from subcomponent level to completed assembly and test per ATP. Set up and test various high-pressure vessels and manifolds using ATPs.
+ Mark products per customer requirements by use of ink stamps, vibro etch, etc.
+ Responsible for the upkeep and inventory of company hand tools and tooling. Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, follower tags, ATP, slitter sheets, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of related work experience.
+ Working knowledge and experience using hand tools (torque wrenches, calipers, electronic manometer, etc.), and a digital multimeter. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, job sheets, and written work instructions. Computer literate including Excel, Lotus notes, and Outlook.
+ Ability to work with solvents such as Acetone, Ethyl Alcohol, Loctite, Epoxy’s, oils, and other chemicals.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
+ Prior experience working in Aerospace manufacturing.
+ Certification to solder to IPC- J STD (previously DOD MIL-STD 2000).
+ Previous experience setting up by sole use of ATP’s job sheet or work instructions including what equipment or gages are required to ensure correct test results completed and signed data sheets so units can be sent to inspection with no defects and on-time.
