You will be joining one of five high-impact teams within Division Finance supporting teams like Inflight, Global Engagement, People, Finance, and many other areas of the Airline. You will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan, tracking financial and productivity performance, and involved with financial forecasting, development of capital plans, staffing analysis, cost reduction and revenue generation studies. This job will also help drive special projects which can assist leaders in the organizations to make key decisions.
What you'll do
+ Develop and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis
+ Identify opportunities for financial and operational improvement and support cross-departmental teams to initiate change
+ Create executive‑ready presentations that highlight key findings, risks, and strategic implications
+ Build cross-functional partnerships to manage accruals, purchase orders, prepaid expense schedules, and month-end close activities
+ Prepare accurate, timely financial reporting packages for monthly and quarterly business reviews
+ Collaborate across the company to gather and analyze data to derive actionable insights
+ Track performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
+ Support the business units in assessing strategic investments and developing effective business cases through financial analysis
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or relevant quantitative majors
+ 3+ years full-time work experience in finance, management consulting, accounting or other related fields
+ Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership
+ Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the remainder of MS Office Suite
+ Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Alteryx
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Self-starter comfortable working with autonomy, and can successfully prioritize and manage multiple assignments
+ Fast learner with a desire to move with urgency, accountability, and intent
+ Adaptability and flexibility in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issues
+ Great ability to explain complex insights in a straightforward and understandable manner
+ Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
