Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) is a global organization that sits within Membership Portfolio Services and is a center of excellence with the charter to drive high quality, customer-first communications that accelerate business growth through optimized go to market solutions and the development of best-in-class MarTech products and processes.
We are looking for a **Product Manager** to join our **Marketing Enablement & Insights Products (MEIP)** team and drive product strategy and development efforts for Marketing Operations Reporting & Analytics. The Operational Reporting Solutions measures the Volume, Quality and Speed at which Marketing is executed at American Express. These solutions enable better decisions around resource allocation, performance management, and conversation with Partners.
The solutions also identify areas of opportunity to improve quality or address bottlenecks to improve speed to market, as well as measure the effectiveness of transformational initiatives to improve the end-to-end marketing execution. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of Product Management, Business Process/Marketing Operations, BI Tools, Analytics, and the ability to tell a compelling story with data.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery & enablement of features against Operational Reporting & Analytics suite (Salesforce and Adobe) and have a deep understanding of business processes and associated KPIs. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for aligning Product to Business strategy by driving the evolving Operational Reporting roadmap that supports transformational initiatives as well as an evolving Business Intelligence tools landscape.
In addition, you'll be able to manage stakeholders across Consumer & Commercial Marketing, Operational Excellence, and 10 Operations teams. You'll partner very closely with Amex Technology, Offshore Customer Success, Transformation Enablement & Training, and other Product organizations to solution, build, test, deploy, and scale analytics solutions across the enterprise.
Role Responsibilities:
+ Drive the content strategy and roadmap for Ops Reporting by partnering closely with key stakeholders, partners and product teams
+ Establish and maintain close relationships with key partners in Marketing, ECMX, and Operational Excellence to understand business strategies, collaboratively develop goals / objectives, and address challenges and opportunities
+ Oversee product functions across our Agile development processes, partnering closely with the engineering scrum teams to ensure product features are clearly defined, have clear acceptance criteria, and are properly tested and validated before launch
+ Lead the business planning, prioritization, and technology assessment processes across our software development lifecycle
+ Support production issue triage and resolution, communicating with relevant teams, tracking progress, and ensuring issues are investigated and resolved efficiently
+ Contribute to product design and user experience by collaborating with design teams on wireframes and mockups
+ Gather and analyze user feedback through user interviews to inform feature development
+ Monitor and maintain reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and functionality
+ Communicate updates and progress on product work & production issues to relevant stakeholders
+ Identify areas for improvement in the product experience by leveraging analytics and session replay tools to make data-driven recommendations
+ Lead with an external perspective and be informed on the business intelligence landscape and emerging technology **Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 2-3 years of experience in either a product management function or a reporting & analytics role.
+ Experience working within Agile software development methodologies and supporting tools and frameworks (JIRA, Rally, Lean Portfolio Management, or other workflow management tools)
+ Highly skilled communicator – ability to define, articulate and present a product strategy, build conscientious, as well as define detailed technical requirements for capabilities, features and user stories clearly
+ Strong balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving innovation and results in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-first mindset
+ Experience in building out highly complex analytical assessments
+ Highly organized, great attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and high personal accountability.
+ Energized by technology, data-driven insights and the evolving external MarTech landscape
+ Comfort in leading and influencing discussions across various levels of the organization
+ Skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly to non-technical audiences
+ Naturally empathetic and articulate communicator
+ Experience with various BI technologies and solutions such as: Tableau, Salesforce Standard / Out of Box Reporting, PowerBI, CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM, Einstein Analytics), and Adobe or AI/ML a plus
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, such as: Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Visio as well as Confluence.

Qualifications
Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits
