Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will interact with the public, support daily operations, and uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic retail setting.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behaviors.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed.

+ Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical situations, as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
