What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the utilities location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe, report, and document any security-related incidents or unusual activity encountered during patrols.

+ Assist authorized personnel and visitors with access as needed, while monitoring for compliance with site policies.

+ Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents or security-related concerns.

+ Support the implementation of emergency procedures and assist first responders as directed during emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and first aid are preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
