    We need engineers to help support the way we build and test our products and features in a start-up environment. You will assist with quality advocacy to enable delivery of high-quality software in collaboration with research scientists, software developers, and hardware engineers.     Key job responsibilities

     

    - Set up, operate, and maintain all 3D printers to ensure consistent, high-quality output across FDM, SLS, and other additive technologies

     

    - Troubleshoot printer issues and perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs

     

    - Design and fabricate custom fixtures, jigs, and workholding devices to support production and assembly processes

     

    - Collaborate with engineering teams to design and build specialized tooling for prototyping and production needs

     

    - Assist engineers with basic machining operations on Prototrak lathe and mill equipment

     

    - Support water jet cutting operations and prepare materials for prototyping and production runs

     

    - Source and procure printing materials, filaments, raw metals, and consumables

     

    - Manage fastener inventory and maintain stock levels of hardware and fabrication supplies

     

    - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment in compliance with shop safety standards

     

    - Generate process documentation, work instructions, and equipment maintenance logs

    Basic Qualifications

    - Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks

     

    - Associate's degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

     

    - Hands-on experience operating and maintaining FDM, SLS, or other 3D printing technologies

     

    - Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software

     

    - Basic understanding of machining principles and shop safety practices

     

    - Experience with technical documentation and work instructions

     

    - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

     

    - CAM software experience for CNC programming

     

    - Prior experience with Prototrak CNC equipment

     

    - Familiarity with water jet cutting operations

     

    - Background in mechanical fabrication or prototyping environments

     

    - Experience with inventory management systems and procurement processes

     

    - Knowledge of materials science as it relates to additive manufacturing and metal fabrication

     

    - Experience supporting engineering teams in a fast-paced product development environment

    The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
