**Job Title:** Software Engineer IV (Medical Devices)/ Engineer - Degreed
**Location:** 6101 Stoneridge Dr, Pleasanton, CA 94588
**Duration:** 10+ Months
**Work Arrangement:** 100% Onsite
**Pay Range:** $65/ hr to $70/ hr (On W2)
We are looking for a **“Software Engineer IV (Medical Devices)”** to join one of our Leading Healthcare Client.
Role Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer with experience in medical device R&D to support application software development and verification activities. This role focuses on software requirements, testing, risk management, and systems documentation within a regulated environment.
Required Experience & Education
+ **Experience:** 4–8 years
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Key Responsibilities
+ Support medical device R&D application software development
+ Create and maintain software requirements and traceability matrices
+ Develop and maintain software test cases, test runs, and verification documentation
+ Perform software verification and validation activities
+ Create and maintain software risk documentation, including dFMEA
+ Develop and maintain SysML artifacts (e.g., activity diagrams, use cases)
+ Utilize software tools for requirements management and test documentation
Qualifications
+ Prior experience in medical device software development
+ Strong background in software requirements, verification, and validation
+ Familiarity with regulated product development processes
+ Experience using tools for requirements and test case management
