Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join their team in **Appleton, WI.** As a Forklift Driver, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, enjoy fixing and troubleshooting, and have a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Driver

**Location:** Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour - depending on experience

**Shift:** Monday – Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm with flexibility for early or late hours a few times a week

What's the Job?

+ Ensure all assigned machine(s) are supplied with lumber, to help eliminate downtime

+ Ensure finished goods are staged or stored after completion in order to maintain efficient material flow

+ Coordinate finished goods storage with supervisors and co-workers

+ Pre-stage materials in the department for easy access and minimal travel time

+ Monitor quality of products generated in the department, if the product does not meet quality standards, notify the lead or supervisor

+ Operate forklift at, or under, posted speed limits at all times and in a safe manner

What's Needed?

+ A minimum of 2-5 years of experience on forklift in a fast paced environment

+ Able to work well with others and be able to take direction

+ Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations

+ On most occasions will lift 50 pounds or less and on a rare occasion must be able to lift, push and pull objects that are 75 pounds or heavier

+ Must be able to sit, walk, bend and twist for long periods of time throughout the day
