Our client, a leading organization in the payroll and tax compliance industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst Consultant to join their dynamic team. As a Tax Analyst Consultant, you will support the Payroll and Tax Compliance departments, ensuring accurate tax filings, reconciliation, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Tax Analyst Consultant

**Location:** Remote, NJ

**Pay Range:** $61.15

**Shift:** Part Time / Mon - Fri / 20-30 hours

What's the Job?

+ Review and validate payroll tax configurations in Workday, focusing on multi-state and local taxation for remote employees.

+ Monitor legislative updates and ensure timely, accurate tax filings across all jurisdictions.

+ Analyze payroll tax liabilities versus withholdings to identify discrepancies and compliance gaps.

+ Conduct research on federal, state, and local tax laws to clarify complex compliance requirements.

+ Reconcile payroll data with ADP SmartCompliance and General Ledger entries, supporting audit readiness.

What's Needed?

+ Proven experience as a Tax Analyst or similar role with expertise in Workday HCM/Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance.

+ Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

+ Experience assisting with prior year tax filings and resolving tax notices is highly preferred.

+ Excellent communication and client engagement skills.

+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
