    Job Description

    The In Room Dining Manager oversees the department by communicating effectively to other team members and managing the department's associates to ensure the success of every group and/or guest.

    Responsibilities

    + Assists in all areas of F&B operations

    + Manage, train, and develop team members.

    + Monitor guest room floors to ensure a successful day-to-day operation

    + Ensuring proper tray set up procedures.

    + Work within In Room Dining, Food, Beverage, and Payroll budgeted guidelines.

    + Ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

    + Conducts daily associate pre-shift meetings.

    + Supervise In Room Dining associates during operation.

    + Coordinate room set ups, service flow and breakdowns for meetings, conferences, and special events.

    + Conduct pre-event briefings and post event reviews with In Room Dining staff.

    + Oversee the daily operation of all Banquet rooms and Event spaces, ensuring events are executed according to Banquet Event Orders.

    + Address all complaints in regards to guests' satisfaction.

    + Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of In Room Dining.

    + Perform positive up-selling techniques with service staff.

    + Implement sales promotions and merchandising programs.

    + Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. Annual Salary: $80,000 - $83,200

    Qualifications

    + + Previous food and beverage management experience and basic and beverage wine knowledge is required.

    + Experience managing banquet events is required.

    + Experience managing a union environment is preferred.

    + Experience managing an up-scale hotel F&B operation preferred.

    + Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    + Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity.

    + Must possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

    + Micros experience is a strong advantage.

    + Food Safety and Alcohol service certifications as required by local regulations.
