Pay rate: $30-35/hour (depends on experience)
Summary/Objective
The Optimization Experience Associate I (OEA) is an onsite, laboratory based role supporting Biocare Medical’s platform optimization initiatives. This position performs immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and immunofluorescence (IF) testing to generate high quality data for ongoing optimization projects. The OEA contributes to design and optimization documentation, maintains accurate laboratory records, and supports internal staining requests and troubleshooting activities. This role is ideal for someone with strong laboratory skills, excellent organization, and a desire to grow within a collaborative, fast paced, and regulated environment. The OEA executes work independently with structured guidance as needed and partners closely with Optimization Experience team members and cross functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
+ Perform IHC, ISH, and IF testing to support platform optimization projects and generate high quality, reproducible data
+ Execute assigned experiments, collect data, and maintain accurate laboratory notebook entries and documentation in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
+ Support design and optimization documentation, including data organization, version control, and preparation of materials for internal review
+ Assist with internal Sales Staining Requests and other assigned optimization tasks; this role is not external facing
+ Contribute to troubleshooting activities and unplanned testing needs to support product performance investigations or new product development
+ Maintain laboratory organization, equipment readiness, and compliance with GMP and ISO standards
+ Collaborate closely with team members to ensure project timelines, priorities, and deliverables are met
+ Apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify potential issues, recommend improvements, and escalate findings appropriately
Qualifications for this position include:
+ Strong laboratory skills with the ability to execute IHC, ISH, and IF workflows accurately and efficiently
+ High level of organization, documentation discipline, and attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently while seeking structured guidance when needed Strong collaboration skills and willingness to support team priorities

**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
