Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient financial operations by ensuring accurate invoice processing and payment handling. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounts payable workflows and demonstrate proficiency in using accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate approvers for timely payment.

• Manage accounts payable workflows using Ramp and Sage Intacct systems.

• Verify and maintain proper account coding for all invoices to ensure compliance with company standards.

• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs efficiently.

• Perform reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address vendor inquiries.

• Utilize accounting software tools to streamline payment processes and reporting.

• Ensure financial data is recorded accurately in alignment with company policies.

• Support month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.

• Provide recommendations for improving accounts payable processes and systems. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including coding and processing invoices.

• Familiarity with Ramp, Stamply, and Sage Intacct accounting systems.

• Strong knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.

• Ability to handle multi-entity accounts and reconcile financial records.

• Proficiency in account coding and general ledger management.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and vendors.
