    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a local company. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience working with financial software. FULLY REMOTE ROLE!     Must reside in Hawaii.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

    • Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to ensure financial records are up-to-date.

    • Review and verify backup documentation for accuracy and completeness to support job closures.

    • Enter and post daily transactions into the accounting system with precision.

    • Handle expense report reviews and ensure compliance with company policies.

    • Manage a high volume of invoices weekly, maintaining attention to detail.

    • Support administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations.

     

    Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.

     

    • Familiarity with accounting software systems, with a willingness to learn new tools.

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, or at least three years of relevant experience.

    • Strong internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.

    • Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.

    • Skilled in data entry and invoice processing.

    • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
