Description

Local mortgage company in Chandler AZ looking for experienced customer service/collections specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to discuss outstanding balances.

+ Provide exceptional customer service by listening to concerns, answering questions, and offering solutions.

+ Negotiate payment arrangements within established guidelines.

+ Document all interactions accurately in the system.

+ Educate customers on payment options and account status.

+ Escalate complex issues to senior team members or supervisors as needed.

+ Maintain compliance with FDCPA and other relevant regulations.

+ Meet or exceed daily and monthly performance metrics (e.g., call volume, resolution rate).

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ 1+ year of customer service experience (collections experience preferred but not required).

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

+ Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.

+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
