Description We are looking for a skilled Legal Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers flexibility in hours, allowing part-time work as needed, with an anticipated duration of six months. The role is remote, but familiarity with legal practices in McKinney, Texas is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain legal files for efficient access and management.

• Prepare, organize, and electronically file court documents in Collin County and Travis County.

• Communicate effectively with attorneys and legal professionals to ensure smooth case handling.

• Assist in managing case-related deadlines and schedules through calendar management tools.

• Utilize case management software to track and update legal proceedings.

• Provide support in probate-related matters, including estate guardianship and complex litigation cases.

• Conduct initial document preparation and review to streamline legal processes.

• Coordinate with court systems and ensure compliance with filing requirements.

• Maintain professionalism and adhere to business casual attire standards during client interactions.

• Support attorneys in managing correspondence and administrative tasks related to legal cases. Requirements • Proven experience with legal file organization and management.

• Proficiency in electronic court filing systems, particularly in Texas counties.

• Strong familiarity with case management software and tools.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with attorneys and court officials.

• Ability to manage schedules and deadlines using calendar tools effectively.

• Knowledge of probate and litigation processes is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive legal documents with discretion.

• Comfortable working remotely and managing time independently.
