Description We are looking for a dedicated Employment Attorney to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role involves working closely with employer clients to manage employment-related litigation and provide proactive legal guidance to prevent potential disputes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employment law and demonstrate strong skills in litigation, legal research, and client representation.

Responsibilities:

• Represent employer clients in single plaintiff employment litigation cases, both in court and arbitration.

• Investigate claims and defenses, assess liability and damages, and create effective case strategies.

• Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development.

• Draft legal documents, including letters, memos, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.

• Conduct and defend depositions as part of case preparation.

• Advocate for clients during court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and trials or arbitrations.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with partners, associates, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel.

• Ensure a minimum of 1850 billable hours annually.

• Respond to administrative charges and handle cases involving wage and hour matters as needed. Requirements • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• Active California bar admission and good standing.

• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.

• Exceptional writing skills and keen attention to detail.

• Effective verbal communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.

• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid understanding of current state and federal legal procedures.

• Experience with court appearances, depositions, and mediations; trial experience is a plus but not mandatory.
