Description
Engineer responsible for improving manufacturing processes, reducing scrap, and supporting day‑to‑day production needs in a fast‑paced environment. This role provides hands‑on floor support, leads process and workflow improvements, and collaborates closely with operations, quality, tooling, planning, and design teams to ensure efficient, high‑quality production.
- Drives process improvements, scrap‑reduction initiatives, and manufacturing optimization projects.
- Provides daily production support, troubleshooting issues on the manufacturing floor.
- Develops and enhances manufacturing methods, workflows, and equipment layouts.
- Collaborates cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and vendors.
- Applies data analysis, statistical methods, and PLC/programming (Omron/Mitsubishi) knowledge to improve performance and efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) OR 4–6 years of related experience.
+ Prior experience in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role.
+ Automotive or high‑volume production environment experience preferred.
+ Experience with PLC programming is highly desired.
+ CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
+ Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to present technical information.
+ Project management abilities with experience leading engineering initiatives.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of London, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
