    We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician with expertise in Scope Processing using Medivator AER and Olympus OER. The role involves ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are reprocessed, assembled, and sterilized to the highest standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform sterile processing duties following the lead technicians' guidelines.

    + Reprocess and assemble specialized instruments and equipment.

    + Wash, prepare, and sterilize trays and instruments using designated procedures.

    + Inspect and test the performance of specialized instruments and equipment.

    + Lubricate items according to cleaning and preparation instructions.

    + Document required information and maintain accurate records.

    + Set up case carts for surgical procedures.

    + Ensure correct inventory and restock equipment and supplies as needed.

    + Assist with the preparation of equipment, instruments, and supplies.

    + Operate and troubleshoot equipment, seeking assistance as needed.

    + Report hazardous conditions, malfunctioning equipment, accidents, or other incidents to the supervisor.

    + Participate in performance improvement activities and meetings as assigned.

    + Engage in training, educational activities, and staff meetings.

    + Assist with the orientation and training of other personnel.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in sterile processing and sterilization.

    + Proficiency in scope processing and decontamination.

    + Knowledge of aseptic techniques.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    + Must have decontamination experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Central Service Technician Certification (CRCST).

    + 5 years of experience in neuro, ortho, and robotics preferred.

    + Ability to work rotating weekends.

    + American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS).

    Work Environment

    This position operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, including rotating weekends. You will work with a team of 15 people across both shifts, fostering a collaborative environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Bernardino, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
