    Job Title: Nurse Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee clinical staff orientation, training, and ongoing staff development, as well as implement clinical workflow processes. You will be responsible for managing clinical staff schedules and assignments, supporting protocols for clinical care delivery through training, and supervising nursing staff across all divisions.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise clinical nursing staff, including LPNs and MAs in all divisions.

    + Understand and manage operational, capital, and staffing budgets as assigned.

    + Maintain appropriate clinical staffing levels and plan for staffing needs.

    + Employ, evaluate, and terminate clinical staff personnel in coordination with the Practice Manager and Department Operations Manager.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards and requirements.

    + Maintain adequate supply levels for all patient care areas, including medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical supplies.

    + Conduct performance evaluations in coordination with the Practice Manager and Division Directors.

    + Ensure smooth patient flow in all clinical areas.

    + Monitor clinical staff electronic health record documentation and ensure compliance with medical records standards.

    + Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the clinic.

    + Set up and assist with various medical procedures.

    + Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked nursing areas.

    + Attend required in-service training and meetings.

    + Maintain continuing education units.

    + Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).

    + Ability to delegate and coach effectively.

    + Three (3) years of supervisory experience required.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree preferred.

    + Experience in a medical office environment preferred.

    + Progressively more responsible positions in group practice management, especially in a large specialty group practice, are strongly preferred.

    Work Environment

    The Nurse Manager will work full-time in the Women's Health Department working under with specialized clinics . You will oversee a team of 10 clinical staff members in a fast-paced environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.26/hr.
