    Job Title: R&D Project Manager

    Job Description

    The R&D Project Manager will oversee strategic projects associated with the North America Business. This role involves detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, and construction management. The manager will ensure compliance with project management policies and governance requirements, while providing project status updates to leadership and stakeholders. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to support strategic business priorities and achieve project objectives.

    Responsibilities

    + Execute and manage projects focusing on scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality while meeting project objectives.

    + Ensure safe execution of all capital projects by conducting safety observations and audits.

    + Develop engineering work packages, manage engineering firms, and review deliverables for engineering design.

    + Support site and company initiatives related to safety, environmental, regulatory, production, expansion, and maintenance.

    + Engage in technical and personal development and provide coaching for contractors and trades.

    + Travel as needed to support various project phases including design, fabrication, and construction.

    + Manage strategic initiatives involving new process technologies from prototype to full-scale operations.

    + Collaborate with functional teams within the organization, including technical services, maintenance, and EHS.

    + Conduct cost estimation and cost control activities.

    Essential Skills

    + Project management expertise in mechanical and chemical industries.

    + Proficiency in engineering software, Primavera, and MS Office Suite.

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.

    + Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial or chemical project execution.

    + Experience with EPCM firms and third-party service providers.

    + Familiarity with SAP/Maximo and Fieldglass.

    + Ability to interpret and understand Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Schedules.

    + Knowledge of EHS regulatory environments and management systems.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Brandon, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $137000.00/yr.
