Job Title:
Project Manager – Change Management (PM2)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Change Management expertise to join a growing team that is implementing new technologies and processes. This role will focus on designing structured frameworks, creating playbooks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that impact the bottom line. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, communicate effectively across a multi-generational team, and bring energy and leadership to change efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a Change Management playbook to guide activities, execution, and measurement.
Assist Project Managers in planning and executing change initiatives.
Lead efforts to introduce new technologies, support new managers, and structure long-term planning for growth.
Apply Change Management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s) to ensure successful adoption.
Design and track impact measurement activities to evaluate success and ROI.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to asset protection and damage prevention.
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams to gain buy-in and minimize resistance.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of real-world experience in Change Management and Project Management (outside of formal education).
Strong knowledge of Change Management tools and methodologies (ADKAR, Kotter’s).
Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments and lead multi-generational teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be an energetic, visible leader.
PMP certification required; Lean Six Sigma preferred.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the energy industry (ideal but not required; transferable experience accepted).
Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and long-term strategic planning.
Skills & Competencies:
Strategic thinking and planning.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to design and implement structured processes.
Proficiency in project management and change management tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field required
PMP Certification highly preferred
Previous experience supporting utility industry preferred - more specifically natural gas transmission or distribution projects preferred
Client-focused with a deep understanding of client relationship management

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
