    Construction Estimator

    A leading site/civil construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project plans and specifications

    + Review subcontractor/supplier quotes and develop pricing models

    + Prepare and submit competitive bids

    + Manage and price change orders

    + Use HCSS for estimating and cost management

    + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders

    + Monitor project budgets and provide cost-performance updates

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

    + 5+ years of estimating experience in site/civil construction

    + Proficiency with HCSS

    + Strong knowledge of bidding, pricing, and change order processes

    + Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

    Preferred Experience

    + Heavy civil, site development, highways/roadways

    + Preconstruction, proposals, cost modeling, and RFIs

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $88.00 - $90.00/hr.
