    Job Title: Firmware Test Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Firmware Test Engineer to manage automated test systems and ensure the integrity and efficiency of our firmware. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot nightly test failures.

    + Adapt to changes implemented in development processes.

    + Collect and analyze test results to identify patterns and failures.

    + Maintain and update existing test protocols.

    + Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve testing challenges.

    + Assist in converting firmware and software to a new security program.

    + Create, implement, and document firmware tests.

    + Communicate test results and work through regressions with engineering teams.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

    + Background in firmware or embedded systems.

    + Minimum of 1 year experience in a firmware or embedded environment.

    + Proficiency in writing, running, and evaluating firmware tests.

    + Experience with test and measurement equipment.

    + Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, and GitHub Actions.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Degrees in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields are preferred.

    + Experience creating, running, and evaluating firmware tests is beneficial.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
