    Job Title: Adjuster Assistant

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Machine Adjuster Operator to join our team. This position offers a choice between two shifts: the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, or the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.

     

    **Pay:** Based off skills $18-20.00 per hour

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for assisting lead operator in set-up and adjustments on the machines & relating equipment

    + Utilize hand tools to shift components on the machine into spec

    + Review workorders, ensure production meets requirements

    + Supply machines with paper, ink, and glue as needed for replenishment

    + Change paper rolls and printing plates.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.

    + Ability to pass math, ruler, and mechanical tests.

    + Physical capability for walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with other adjusters.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous machine operating experience preferred.

    + Good work history required, with more than 2 years at one company being advantageous.

    + Highly motivated with a steady work history.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a spacious and clean warehouse containing 40 machines. While there is no air conditioning, and it can get hot during the summer, you will be part of a dynamic team. Please note that working with inks can be messy, and you will be required to wear ear plugs and steel toe boots while on the manufacturing floor.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
