Job Title: CNC Setup Machinist** **Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist with extensive hands-on experience in the setup and operation of CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have the ability to select, maintain, and use various cutting tools and fixtures effectively. A strong troubleshooting ability to quickly identify and resolve machining issues is essential, along with experience in implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently.
+ Select, maintain, and use various cutting tools and fixtures.
+ Identify mechanical and software issues within CNC machines and address them promptly.
+ Recognize signs of tool wear and make necessary adjustments to optimize machining processes.
+ Diagnose and address tool breakage to minimize downtime.
+ Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 years of full-time operator experience on a CNC machining center.
+ Proficiency in performing offsets and tool changes.
+ Strong industrial math skills.
+ Ability to read technical drawings and use gauges.
+ Capability to follow specific work instructions.
+ Maintain quality and output standards.
+ A high-performance and continuous improvement mindset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with using surface grinders and manual machines.

Work Environment
Work in a smaller, climate-controlled shop that is well-lit and sometimes gets slightly dirty due to carbon. The environment may be slippery at times but is generally comfortable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
