    Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description

     

    As a CNC Machinist, you will work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications. Your role will include defining and coding tooling, fixturing, and machine arrangements. You will program with G&M code, have a solid understanding of GD&T, and work with collaborative robots. You will also set up, operate, and program CNC machines from various manufacturers, and use a variety of precision measuring instruments. Additionally, you will recognize, report, and correct errors, and recommend tooling applications and operational sequences to aid in developing practical programming for new and unusual machining requirements. You may also set up and program for, and instruct, Machine Operators of lower classification while complying with safety, quality, and service standards within the department.

    Responsibilities

    + Work from detailed part drawings and specifications.

    + Define and code tooling, fixturing, and machine arrangements.

    + Program with G&M code.

    + Understand and apply GD&T.

    + Work with collaborative robots.

    + Set up, operate, and program CNC machines, including Doosan models.

    + Use precision measuring instruments.

    + Recognize, report, and correct errors.

    + Recommend tooling applications and operational sequences.

    + Set up and program for and instruct Machine Operators of lower classification.

    + Comply with safety, quality, and service standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC programming with G&M code.

    + Knowledge of GD&T.

    + Experience with collaborative robots.

    + Ability to set up, operate, and program CNC machines.

    + Skill in using precision measuring instruments.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with troubleshooting and changeover processes.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    Work Environment

    The facility operates Monday through Thursday from 5am to 7pm, and Friday from 5am to 4:30pm, allowing for flexible scheduling within these hours. Employees work in a modern, well-equipped environment with a focus on safety and quality standards.

    This is a Permanent position based out of West Bend, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
