Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welding candidate to join our family-owned custom weld shop, which specializes in large structural work and unique projects. Projects including everything from structural projects for commercial construction and industrial power as well as custom projects for the packaging machinery, equipment attachments, and agricultural components. There will be multiple opportunities to obtain welding certifications through the company. Job duties include:

+ Work from blueprints to build and fit custom weldments

+ Utilize 035 MIG, 045 MIG, and FCAW processes to build projects

+ Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move large materials as needed

+ Occasionally engage in TIG welding and work with other materials.

Requirements:

+ 2+ years of MIG or FCAW welding experience preferred

+ Technical degree or 1 year of welding experience required

+ Experience with multi-pass and structural welding preferred

Hours:

1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM ; Monday - Friday (4X10's schedule also available)

2nd Shift: 3:00PM to 1:30AM ; Monday - Thursday + OT on Friday

Work Environment

Work in a family-owned custom job shop with three locations, including a custom fabrication and a structural welding facility. Openings on 1st and shift offer a schedule that works for nearly anytime. Typical work week include 40+ weeks with overtime available.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fond Du Lac, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
