Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot industrial machinery to ensure accurate execution of machine programs, proper staging of materials, efficient workflow, and consistent quality. Prepare components to precise specifications for downstream welding and fitting processes.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret orders, part lists, and structural drawings.
+ Load, execute, and monitor pre-set cutting, drilling, punching, and marking programs.
+ Stage and load beams, plates, tubing, and raw materials onto machinery.
+ Label, mark, and sort finished components for downstream processes.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient material flow throughout pre-assembly operations.
+ Measure hole spacing, shear angles, cut quality, and part dimensions for accuracy.
+ Use calipers, micrometers, templates, and gauges to verify tolerances.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production and machine operation.
+ Ability to use a tape measure and hand tools.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and operating CNC machines.
+ Familiarity with press brakes, calipers, and troubleshooting techniques.
+ Knowledge of power tools and machining in the manufacturing industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with punch press and mechanical operations.
+ Background in construction and general production.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
Work in a fab shop environment that is hot in summer and cold in winter. The space may be dirty, reflecting a hands-on, industrial setting. Shifts run from Monday to Thursday, with hours from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. Weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday operate from 6 AM to 6 PM, allowing you to work 36 hours while getting paid for 40.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylors, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
