    Job Title: Hydraulic Bench Mechanic** **Job Description

     

    The Hydraulic Bench Mechanic will be responsible for the entire process of building Hydraulic Systems and Fluid Processing Systems for Industrial Applications. This role requires expertise in reading hydraulic and electrical circuit and general arrangement drawings, understanding bills of material, and executing precise mechanical assembly.

    Responsibilities

    + Read hydraulic and electrical circuit and general arrangement drawings.

    + Understand the relationship between a bill of material and its corresponding drawing.

    + Layout and assemble hydraulic components using hand-held tools.

    + Fabricate tubing, piping, and hose assemblies with hand-held and bench-mounted equipment.

    + Drill and tap holes utilizing hand-held and bench-mounted power tools.

    + Weld carbon steel and stainless steel plates and piping.

    + Assist in testing all manufactured assemblies.

    + Paint all manufactured assemblies.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of Mechanical Assembly and Machine Building Experience.

    + Direct experience with Hydraulic systems.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

    + Strong skills with hand, pneumatic, and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Drilling, tapping, and welding experience is a plus.

    + Must possess a set of basic hand tools.

    + Welding experience is advantageous.

    Work Environment

    Work in a dynamic, smaller facility where parts are both climate-controlled and not, with multiple ongoing projects, welding stations, and painting areas. The team environment encourages collaboration, with everyone contributing to complete projects. The dress code includes jeans, a provided work shirt, no jewelry, steel-toe boots, and safety glasses. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with optional overtime available.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
