Job Title: Forming Machine Operator** **Job Description
The forming machine operator is responsible for setting machines to complete forming parts that meet quality standards and ensuring efficient production operations. The role involves completing part inspections, handling non-conforming part quarantines and labeling, and managing materials via forklift. Training for forklift operation is provided. The operator will also be required to record job progress data both handwritten and through the ERP system.
Responsibilities
+ Set up machines to form parts according to quality standards.
+ Operate machines efficiently to meet proven job rates.
+ Conduct inspections of parts to ensure quality.
+ Quarantine and label non-conforming parts.
+ Handle materials using a forklift, with training provided.
+ Record job progress data using both handwritten methods and the ERP system.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ At least 6 months of experience in a machine operator position.
+ Proficiency in welding, production welding, and machine operation.
+ Familiarity with Mig welding, robotics, and laser operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred: 6+ months experience in a sheet metal facility.
+ All new hires will undergo a blueprint reading test.

Work Environment
Work in a large, heated, and air-conditioned sheet metal facility located in an airpark. The position requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and solid t-shirts in company colors (white, black, red, or gray). Denim jeans are acceptable, and shorts are permitted during hotter months. Welders are provided with sleeves. Aerotek shirts are also allowed. The position offers two shifts: 1st shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday with mandatory overtime on Fridays when applicable, and 2nd shift from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with Friday reserved for mandatory overtime when applicable. New hires start on Mondays to facilitate group orientation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
