    Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

     

    The role involves receiving all materials and efficiently allocating products within a high-volume warehouse. You will utilize forklifts for order picking and packaging of materials, and perform data entry of all material allocations and product movements into the company's Oracle database. The job also includes inventory control of products through cycle counting and data entry of correct amounts. You will be required to scan parts with an RF scanner throughout the day, as well as hand package and label products. The use of hand tools and power tools is necessary to crate finished products. Additionally, you will be responsible for computer entry of all rejected or flawed parts into the company database. This role demands walking and lifting products all day at a fast pace, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs at a time.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and allocate materials within the warehouse.

    + Utilize forklifts for order picking and packaging.

    + Perform data entry in the Oracle database for material allocation and product movements.

    + Conduct inventory control through cycle counting and data entry.

    + Scan parts with an RF scanner.

    + Hand package and label products.

    + Use hand tools and power tools to create finished product crates.

    + Enter rejected or flawed parts into the company database.

    + Walk and lift products at a fast pace, lifting up to 70 lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with order picking, packaging, receiving, and shipping within a warehouse environment.

    + Proficiency in operating an RF scanner and forklift.

    + Experience with Oracle database or similar systems.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 70 lbs.

    + Experience using power screwdrivers for crate construction.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ years of recent experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.

    + Experience with UPS or FedEx shipping is a plus.

    + Any RF scanner experience is advantageous.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
