Job Title: Order Selector

Job Description

Join our team as an Order Selector in a cold storage warehouse. Utilize your skills operating Crown Reach Trucks and single/double RIDING pallet jacks, while managing inventory with RF Scanners. You will be working in a small, 19-door refrigerated warehouse, ensuring efficient order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

+ Fulfill orders in a cold storage environment using reach forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

+ Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management.

+ Handle mostly full pallet orders with occasional case picking for select clients.

+ Operate within a relaxed atmosphere without high quotas or volume pressures.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating stand-up reach lifts.

+ Experience with electric pallet jacks.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience from companies such as Alpine, JD Refrigerated, Kroger, Sygma, KeHE, UNFI, McClane, DPI, and Lineage is advantageous.

+ Experience in case picking and shipping operations is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a sub-temperature cold storage facility, with the shipping side maintained at 42 degrees and the picking side at 15 degrees. Required attire includes steel toe boots, vests, and full-body bibs for cold protection.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
