    A Brief Overview

     

    Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.

     

    What you will do

     

    Leverages expertise to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.

     

    Contributes to solution design and architecture discussions, collaborating with architects and senior engineers.

     

    Provides input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations to ensure that the overall solution meets the desired objectives.

     

    Participates in code reviews and ensures adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

     

    Communicates and coordinates with team members to ensure alignment, provide technical insights, and contribute to decision-making processes.

     

    Contributes to the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and code quality.

     

    Participates in knowledge sharing activities, such as code reviews, tech talks, and workshops, to foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

     

    Works with other developers and team members to implement complex features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code.

     

    Provides guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them improve their technical skills and grow professionally.

     

    For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

     

    7+ years work experience

     

    Adept at problem solving and decision making skills

     

    Adept at collaboration and teamwork

     

    Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

     

    Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

     

    Adept at business intelligence

    Required Qualifications

    7+ years of DevOps, automation, or platform engineering experience in modern cloud-native environments.

    Strong expertise with:

    **CI/CD:** GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD

    **IaC:** Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Docker

    **Languages:** Python, Bash, JavaScript/TypeScript (nice to have)

    **Cloud:** Azure, GCP, or AWS

    **APIs:** REST, GraphQL

     

    Experience supporting **web, mobile, and backend** engineering teams.

     

    Solid understanding of **automated testing frameworks** (JUnit, Cypress, Jest, Appium, Playwright, Postman, etc.).

     

    Hands-on experience with observability (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).

     

    Knowledge of security (secrets management, OAuth2/OIDC, vulnerability scanning).

    Preferred Qualifications

    Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) preferred.

     

    AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred.

    Experience with **AI or ML-driven automation** , such as:

    GenAI for test creation

     

    AI-powered incident automation

     

    Log anomaly detection and predictive analytics

     

    Experience implementing GitOps and progressive delivery (Argo Rollouts, Feature Flags).

     

    Familiarity with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter).

    Education

    Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

     

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $118,450.00 - $236,900.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
