Talent Development Specialist Details
Key Responsibilities
+ In consultation with the Vice President and Director, Human Resources, provides or assists with staff development programs relevant to all levels of personnel.
+ Incorporates principles of instructional design in planning educational programs.
+ Communicates the plan for educational programs to encourage and foster staff participation, involvement, and cooperation.
+ Implement planned learning activities.
+ Evaluates offerings and programs to determine the effectiveness of educational activities.
+ Redesigns educational programming based on evaluation and analysis.
+ Responsible for assisting departments/teams in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating continuing education programming for the organization in accordance with professional and accrediting standards.
+ Provides input regarding projected budgetary needs for the Talent Development and Staff development programming.
+ Distributes annual staff needs assessment in February.
+ Maintains documentation of educational activities and projects in compliance with departmental, organizational and external agency requirements.
+ Participates in the development of departmental goals and objectives (opportunities for improvement), policy development and work prioritization.
+ Participate in performance improvement activities.
+ Serves on organization-wide committees, teams, task forces to assist in the development of staff as appropriate.
+ Participates in community outreach activities related to health care education.
+ Consults with the Manager of Talent Development in developing and conducting educational programs and classroom training on application features and procedures.
+ Develops and maintains educational lessons on Symplr Learning.
+ Serves as technical resource for systems and equipment used in educational programming. (For example - development of PowerPoint and other educational resources; setting up AV equipment, etc.)
+ In consultation with the Talent Development staff, develops and maintains electronic data entry, manipulation and reporting to support workforce development education tracking and PI activities
+ Develops and maintains Net Competency software.
+ Utilizes Adobe Connect Software for voice-over education to PowerPoints and assists others with utilizing software for necessary education.
Qualifications:
+ Baccalaureate degree is required.
+ Master's Degree in health or education-related field is desired.
+ Teaching and/or management experience desirable.
+ Strong computer experience required.
+ Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to achieve objectives.
