Pallet Press Operator
Pay Rate:
$22.70/Hour

The Job You Will Perform:
+ Follow all established safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
+ Read and interpret factory work orders to determine customer requirements and identify corresponding products.
+ Position dunnage and apply strapping or banding to units according to work order specifications.
+ Utilize palletizer programming features to set appropriate strapping configurations and assign destination lines.
+ Regularly inspect equipment for proper function, report maintenance needs, and communicate issues to maintenance or supervisory staff.
+ Ensure the palletizer continues running during breaks when the conveyor line is active to maintain workflow.
+ Perform stretch wrapping of designated items as time allows.
+ Keep workstations and storage areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
+ Operate forklifts to unload conveyor lines, transport units, and assist with storage and loading tasks as directed.
+ Accurately complete required documentation, including HRMS entries, load tallies, inventory logs, and other related paperwork.
+ Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support shipping and warehouse operations.
+ **Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.**
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
+ A high school diploma (or GED) is required. One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
+ Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.
