Job Description
The Technical Solutions Specialist splits their time between engaging with customers for live training sessions and focusing on improving digital content for Alpine’s Learning Management System.
This role is responsible for identifying training content needs, creating digital content to be hosted on Alpine’s Learning Management System (LMS) in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency, compliance, effectiveness of training materials, and deploying the content to Alpine’s users. The Technical Solutions Specialist must proactively update content to reflect new software features and products, as well as respond to the changing needs of Alpine’s customers. This role should apply best practices and tools that encourage asynchronous learning to improve the overall training experience on Alpine Academy.
The role is responsible for helping internal and external software users understand how to use the products effectively. This includes supporting the onboarding efforts of new designers by developing content that teaches them the fundamentals as well as supporting experienced designers in refining skills and maximizing the value Alpine software provides. This individual is expected to continually improve their own software skills as new features and products are implemented and released.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Identify, prioritize, develop, and publish content solutions to support and expand Alpine Academy (LMS)
+ Develop effective content for courses, lessons, and webinars for the training website. Also create a monthly customer technical bulletin, presentations, webinars, and on-site software demonstrations to support the sales team (as needed).
+ Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams to source content (software trainers, developers, customer support, etc.)
+ Develop and update content as needed based on new software releases or changes in customer needs
+ Apply best practices in asynchronous learning to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the LMS platform.
+ Host webinars to educate the broader Alpine customer base on important software features.
+ Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to continuously develop and maintain technical proficiency.
+ Collect and analyze user feedback for continuous improvement through surveys, questionnaires, and interviews.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or Construction Management preferred
+ Ability to travel up to 25%
+ Motivated results driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently and quickly learn new software
+ Experience updating and managing a software Learning Management System
+ Familiarity with asynchronous learning strategies and best practices
+ Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible learning content
+ Strong content development skills, including creating eLearning classes, video tutorials, quizzes, and supporting material
+ Experience effectively managing and updating website content
+ Experience hosting software webinars, technical training sessions, and interacting with customers
+ Experience in construction technology preferred
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Professional presentation skills and basic graphic design to enhance materials
+ Proficiency with MS office, WordPress, LearnDash, and MailChimp
+ Industry related software a plus
+ Strong collaboration skills to work with subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders
+ Valid driver's license within state of residence and good driving record
Compensation Information:
Certain states require that pay information be included in job postings. The specific hiring rate within the posted pay range will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience, and the geographic location. For example, In Illinois, the pay rate will be between $76,000 - $104,000 (high level of experience).
